Assembly and Installation of Ecoslider and Arbovista Greenhouses
Ecoslider and Arbovista arched and gable greenhouses can be assembled by the customer or installed by our professional team. The cost and installation time depend on the model and size of the greenhouse. However, the installation site must meet specific requirements outlined below.
Self-Assembly
Our greenhouses are designed for easy self-assembly and do not require special skills — basic experience with a power screwdriver and following step-by-step instructions is sufficient. That’s why nearly half of Ecoslider greenhouses are assembled by customers themselves.

Important points:
- The longevity of your greenhouse depends on proper assembly. All steps and conditions outlined in the installation manual must be followed precisely.
- Always install the greenhouse on a leveled surface.
- Maintain at least 1.5 meters of space from surrounding objects (e.g., fences, buildings, other greenhouses). Otherwise, snow sliding off the roof may pile up against the side walls and damage the structure.
- Securely fasten the greenhouse to the ground, base frame or erected foundation. When securely fastened, the greenhouse is resistant to strong winds and is better protected in the event of a storm.
In the future, these measures will help to avoid frost heave in the ground, and prevent foundation deformation. Even slight foundation deformation can cause the doors to jam.

If you prefer to order the services of professional installers, please inform your manager when making a greenhouse purchase.
Greenhouse installation is carried out by prior arrangement throughout Estonia, including on the islands. The cost of installation depends on the size and model of the greenhouse.
The duration of assembly and installation is 1 – 6 hours. For example, the popular Slider 3×6 arch greenhouse is installed within 1 – 2 hours. But it is important to realize that the installation process can be affected by weather conditions (installation in windy weather or heavy rain is prohibited), and unforeseen circumstances caused by external factors.
Installation Scheduling
The day before the planned installation date, the manager or installation specialist of Heikkinen OÜ will call you and finalize the exact time of the greenhouse installation. On the scheduled day, the technicians will arrive and carry out the installation.
After Installation
Once assembly is complete, please inspect the structure and sign the acceptance certificate. You will receive a copy.
To ensure long-term stability, we strongly recommend filling any gaps between the foundation frame and uneven ground with soil. This prevents wind from entering under the base and potentially damaging the greenhouse.
Installation Site Requirements
We value your comfort and do our best to accommodate all customer requests. If any of the conditions below cannot be met, please inform your manager in advance — we’ll help find a solution.
Before the installers arrive, please prepare the site as follows:
- The ground should be level and compacted, or a flat foundation should be in place.
- Leave at least 1.5 meters of space between the installation site and any nearby structures (buildings, trees, fences, etc.).
- If replacing an old greenhouse, it must be dismantled in advance — unless you have arranged dismantling services with us.
- Clear the area of any plants or objects that may interfere with assembly.
- Ensure no animals are present on-site during installation.
- Provide access to electricity. If electricity is not available, please inform us in advance.

- Moving heavy objects from the installation site
- Dismantling or relocating an old greenhouse
- We do not make structural modifications to the greenhouse during installation
