What Not to Do
Do not use harsh chemical acids.
Do not clean surfaces with hard brushes.
Do not hit or apply pressure to polycarbonate or glass.
Do not remove snow with a shovel.
Do not scrape off ice crusts.
In Case of Storm Warnings
Please ensure the following precautions are taken:
All doors and ventilation windows must be securely closed.
All ground anchors (reinforcement rods) must be firmly secured and fully driven into the ground.
If there is window automation, the adjustable stops must be unscrewed from the automatic ventilation mechanisms on the roof windows.
There should be no gaps between the foundation frame and the ground.
Winter Preparation
To protect your greenhouse during the winter season, please follow these recommendations:
Structural Preparation:
Remove automatic window openers and store them at temperatures above 0°C.
Dismantle the irrigation automation system.
Drain all water from the irrigation system.
Secure all vents and windows in the closed position.
Ensure all doors are tightly closed.
How to Clean the Greenhouse
NB! Do not treat the metal frame or polycarbonate with any preservation chemicals.
Clean surfaces from dust and dirt.
Disinfect frame joints (metal or wood) and glazing materials (polycarbonate or glass).
Choose cleaning products appropriate for the materials used in your greenhouse.
Use a flannel cloth or soft sponge.
After applying cleaning agents, rinse the surfaces with clean water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
You may use a steam cleaner with soft attachments.
