  • Commercial use: For farms or large-scale gardening, opt for spacious greenhouses that accommodate numerous beds, hanging planters on trusses, and shelves for high yields. The Ecoslider Industrial series is perfect for these needs.
  • Small greenhouses: Ideal for beginners or limited spaces, perfect for seedlings, greens, herbs, and flowers:
    • Mini Greenhouses.
    • Arched Greenhouses Slider 1.5m and 2m.
    • Gable Roof Greenhouses House, House Lux and Arbovista 2m.
  • Medium greenhouses: Great for gardeners with some experience, offering space to grow a variety of crops:
    • Arched greenhouses Slider 2.5m, 3m and 3.5m.
    • Gable Roof Greenhouses House and House Lux 2.5m, 3m, 3.5m.
    • Gable Roof Greenhouses Arbovista 3m.
  • Large greenhouses: Perfect for commercial use or those looking to create distinct zones for planting, tool storage, and relaxation:
    • Greenhouses Ecoslider Industrial.
    • Arched greenhouses Slide 4m.
    • Gable Roof Greenhouses House and House Lux 4m.
  • Steel: Strong and durable, our steel frames feature a high-quality anti-corrosion glazing (275 grams of zinc per square meter) used in roofing for long-term protection.

Painted models also have anti-corrosion layer under the paint.

  • The frame is made of heat-treated pine: Arbovista is built from heat-treated Scandinavian pine — lightweight, dense, resistant to moisture, frost, pests, and decay, with a natural elegant look. The wood undergoes a special heat treatment at high temperatures, which allows excess moisture to escape and thus improves the functional properties of the material and the longevity of the greenhouse. Treated pine is lighter and denser than ordinary pine. It withstands moisture, frost, and temperature changes. It is not afraid of fungus and parasites. It does not crack, rot, or require constant maintenance. At the same time, the wood retains a noble aesthetic appearance.
  • Polycarbonate: This durable material retains heat effectively. We offer both cellular and monolithic polycarbonate:
    • Classic 4 mm cellular polycarbonate is used for mini greenhouses. Thicker polycarbonate (6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, and even 16 mm) is suitable for industrial and hobby greenhouses. The colder the climate, the thicker the covering should be to retain heat longer, extending the growing season and minimizing energy losses if the greenhouse is heated.
    • 4 mm monolithic polycarbonate is an aesthetic solution as it is a worthy glass replacement. It is often chosen by customers who value the beauty of their garden and use part of the greenhouse as a lounge area. Unlike glass, solid polycarbonate cannot be shattered but is susceptible to scratches.

  • Glass: This a robust natural material that offers maximum transparency and excellent lighting for plants. In warm climates, it’s important to ensure good ventilation to prevent hot air from stagnating and to use curtains to shield plants from direct sunlight. For our Ecoslider Glass greenhouses, we use 4 mm tempered glass, which is specifically chosen for its suitability in greenhouse environments. While tempered glass is resistant to scratching, it can still be broken, unlike solid polycarbonate.

When selecting a greenhouse, consider your region’s climate, including humidity, precipitation (such as snow), wind conditions, and seasonal temperature fluctuations. To ensure your greenhouse remains in top condition throughout the year, opt for models with a reinforced frame.

All Ecoslider greenhouses are built to withstand harsh climates, eliminating the need for seasonal snow removal or covering repairs.

Proper assembly and installation are crucial for durability. It’s important to choose a site at least 1.5 meters away from tall objects to reduce the risk of snow or ice damage from nearby branches or structures.

The guidelines for the Ecoslider greenhouse site preparations are described here.

  • For particularly snowy regions, the following Ecoslider models are suitable:
    • Arched greenhouses: Slider 1.5m, 2m, 2.5m and 3m. Load capacity — 800 kg/m².
    • Gable roof greenhouses: House and House Lux, the entire model range. Load capacity — 800 to 1050 kg/m².
  • For windy regions and open, exposed areas, the Slider arched greenhouses are ideal. Their streamlined roof design allows air to flow smoothly over the structure, reducing the load on the greenhouse itself. For recommendations on preparing both arched and gable roof greenhouses for storms, see [here].
  • Built-in ventilation: This comes as a standard feature in the greenhouse. In our models, ventilation is provided not only by end to end doors (if you prefer a single entrance, choose this option in the greenhouse configurator) but also by windows in each door, which can be opened manually, and Smartventor vents at the ends, which can also be opened manually or automatically.
  • Additional ventilation: Includes roof vents for enhanced airflow in both arched and gable roof greenhouses.
  • Manual ventilation: Ideal for smaller greenhouses and the gardeners frequently using their greenhouse, featuring doors, door windows, Smartventor vents, and roof vents.
  • Automatic ventilation: Best for large greenhouses and regions with variable climates, as well as for gardeners who don’t visit their greenhouse often. The Ecoslider’s automatic vents and Smartventor vent come with a Univent mechanism, which responds to temperature changes inside the greenhouse.
  • Good lighting: Ensure the site is free from tree or building shade to maximize sunlight for your plants.
  • Ease of access: Choose a location with easy access to water and electricity. Alternatively, use autonomous watering and lighting systems powered by solar panels.

For detailed installation guidelines, refer to our provided instructions.

  • Watering systems: The Microdrip 15 autonomous watering system, powered by solar panels, maintains optimal soil moisture with multiple modes.
  • Heating and lighting: For year-round use, additional systems may be needed. Our electric module supports two electrical outlets and one water outlet inside the greenhouse for connecting devices and hoses.
  • The cost of the greenhouse, along with installation and ongoing maintenance, are key factors to consider when making your decision. It can often be worthwhile to invest in a more expensive, high-quality model to enjoy long-term satisfaction, reduce the need for frequent repairs, and avoid having to replace the greenhouse in just a few years.

Ecoslider is a long-term investment. Our company has been in business since 2011, and our earliest customers still use their Ecoslider greenhouses, consistently praising their high quality and lasting functionality.

Pay close attention to customer reviews and expert recommendations. This will help you avoid common mistakes and ensure you choose the greenhouse that best meets your needs.
